Modular Table

This table consists of four sections that can be assembled in different tabletop and leg configurations.

I was a part of a team of 5 that developed this table as our Junior Design Project. We had one quarter to identify a need, design a solution, and present a poster. My responsibilities included contributing to the design of the table, assisting with fabrication, and creating renders of the table for our poster. Our design was awarded "Most Marketable" at the end of the poster presentation.

Teammate assembling one section of the table

This table can be quickly reconfigured into different shapes without any tools. The tabletop sections attach to each other using bolts and wingnuts and the legs can screw into each tabletop in multiple locations. We originally intended on having 6 tabletop sections as well as telescoping legs, but were limited by budget constraints.

I created the renders using PhotoView 360 in Solidworks by importing a background then adjusting the camera and lighting to make the table look natural.
